The Good Samaritan Inn serves a hot, nutritious mid-day meal to anyone who needs it seven days a week, year-round. All are welcome; no questions asked. Central is blessed to be able to support The Good Samaritan Inn not only financially, but also with our time. We have a group who volunteers at the "Good Sam" once a month on a Monday and also a group who volunteers every other month on a Saturday. Contact the church office if you'd like to learn more about volunteering with them.
What started as a small food pantry has developed into a large social service organization. Since 1969, Northeast Community Fund has worked to strengthen and uplift individuals and families in our community by compassionately connecting them with resources and services in a caring, Christ-like manner. With the blessings of our community, they work to meet the basic needs of families, provide financial support to those in hardship and give resources to move people out of poverty. They are an organization of the community, for the community. Central is blessed to be able to partner with them.
First established in 1991 to as a ministry for homeless women and children in Decatur, God's Shelter of Love continues to serve the needs of homeless families and individuals and provides much-needed outreach to the neighborhood. Central is blessed to be able to partner with them.

Children's Clothing Room in our building 2 days a week.
