BBQ MINISTRY

Every year, Central hosts neighborhood events with a BBQ meal serving as a focal point.  In June, a “block-party” gathering of church members, Central preschool families, and neighbors from Decatur near West End gather on Central’s campus for food, fun and fellowship.  The praise band provides music.  There are bounce houses, face painters and other games.  And for food, an award-winning pit master and member of Central provides some of his signature fare.  Then, in October, Central hosts a Trunk-or-Treat event for families from the church, preschool and neighborhood.  Once again, award-winning BBQ is served.  If you’re interested in participating in either of these events, let us know and we will be happy to utilize your gifts.
