We seek to do that by:
- Connecting with our neighborhood through intentional relationships

- Growing in our spiritual connection with Christ
- Helping individuals connect with each other through small group experiences and deep, meaningful relationships
Vision
Growing from this strong foundation of purpose and context, and as we look to the future, we believe God is now calling this congregation to an even deeper commitment and more passionate spirituality in these essential “building blocks”:
Actively supporting mission work locally and globally
Being an inclusive congregation
Continuing to make our community stronger
Deepening our spiritual growth through worship, service, program, and outreach ministries
Extending joy of gathering weekly at the Lord’s Table to remember Christ and celebrate our faith
Focusing on intergenerational ministries, especially in supporting a new generation of parents and children with prayer and love and in creating family-enriching Christian education and fellowship programs by devoting resources to that end.
Therefore, it is our vision and conviction, even with the darkness and fragmentation in the world around us that together we shall courageously seek to become a “beacon of hope” in the heart of Decatur and from our doorstep “unto the ends of the earth.” [Acts 1:8] In confidence, we believe as we work, fellowship, and praise God together-lives will be changed and the future filled with hope. In following Christ and being Christ-like, our best days are yet ahead!
